To find local sites with Country TLD (e.g. .ca in Canada) you also need to use keywords in local language. e.g. to find blogs in "Hair Loss" niche.

  1. You need to search for "site:.ca"
  2. You need to use "hair loss" to find sites that contain the keyword
  3. You need to translate "hair loss" into French (local language) and see what are the variations- "hair loss" translates to "la perte des cheveux", but la is "the". "perte des cheveux" is also written like "perte de cheveux" - "hairloss" without space translates "chute des cheveux" or "chute de cheveux"
  4. If you are searching for blogs, then click on the blog link at the left column of Google search page
  5. If you are looking for any site, then normal search will do, but if you are looking for only French site, then you have to add "&lr=lang_fr" to Google search URL

So, here is what you should search:

site:.ca "hair loss" OR "perte des cheveux" OR "perte de cheveux" OR "chute des cheveux" OR "chute de cheveux"

Then:
  1. Click the blog link at left column below the Google logo on the search page
  2. Add "&lr=lang_fr" at the end of the URL, if you want to see French sites only
  3. Do the same for Discussion link at left column, the discussion link at left column returns forum links
